: does anybody out there have any good ideas on how
: to protect porelain signs from the elements when they
: are kept outside. Yes, I use an anti-rust converter on the areas of the sign that have damage. I then coat the entire sign with a clear coat. This has worked pretty well so far as I have several signs that have been outside for at least 5yrs. They seem to be holding up quite well. I use a good grade of wax on the signs that are not damaged and that includes tin ones as well. This seems to do a good job also but needs to be repeated yearly on those signs. I hope this helps you. It has served me well. Kgas
