FAKE GLOBE ON EBAY

I recently bid on a globe on ebay and after doing some reaserch (thanks bruce) found it to be a little known repo globe. When I emailed the owner here is the reply :
The item that I am selling is not mine.I am selling it for a friend of mine that brought it from a older lady. I am not selling it as an antique anyways and I'm not trying to pass it off asone. If you were smart enough to look at the category that the piece is inyou wouldn't be sending me email. IT'S A COLLECTIBLE AND IT'S BEING SOLDUNDER THE GASOLINE COLLECTIBLE CATEGORY!!! Collectibles and antiques are tototally different things.

Beware of this Fake being represented as an authentic 20's globe. I almost made the mistake,this person is not honest and hurts the reputation of the people who are selling authentic gas and oil COLLECTABLES.
