I'm writing to you on behalf of the Museum of the American Road at Mike's
Famous Harley-Davidson in New Castle, Delaware. From March 15 through April
15 we will be hosting a photographic exhibition entitled "Return to Route 66
- Photographs from the Mother Road." In an attempt to accent the exhibit,
we are looking for Roadside, Petrolina, Travel, Diner, Motorcycle and Route
66 memorabilia collectors, to exhibit their collections as a part of our
show. For a minimal vending fee, we will not only allow exhibitors to
display their collectibles but also to put a price tag on those items which
they are interested in selling. Located at the base of the Delaware
Memorial Bridge, we see over 35 million cars pass by our roadside attraction
each year. We are expecting a large turn out as well as media coverage in
cities such as Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington D.C. All of these
elements make this the perfect opportunity to possibly sell your item(s) and
market yourself to a large viewing audience, which could in turn garner you
future business. If you would be interested or know someone who would be interested in being a part of this
exhibit, please email us back with your mailing address so we can send you
more detailed information. Thank you for your time and we hope to be
hearing from you soon.
