Ivan, according to some info supplied by Jack sim on this site, the 96 series was introduced in 1938 and lasted thru 1951 with no wartime production. It would be safe to assume you probably have a late 40's model.The rubber bezel that surrounds the sightglass is reproduced and available from any vendor listed on the main menu site under "petro vendors" and "more petro vendors"
