I am restoring a (50's vintage?) Tokhiem 39, and I need to figure out what the original finish was on the external pot-metal parts. The cover where the hose attaches to the pump, the receptacle where the nozzle is stowed and even the nozzle itself appear to have some kind of plating but it does not look like chrome.
