Powerine Oil Co started out as a part of Rothschilds Oil co in Southern California. Powerine is a small independent refiner and marketer. At one time they had outlets, tanker trucks, etc. In the early eighties Powerine went bankrupt. At some point the station were sold. The refinery was bought by Oscar Schmidt in the late eighties and run until around 1993 when it was sold to castle energy. Castle energy shut down the refinery in 1995 and sold it to Kenyan. It was sold thereafter to seigfreid haddad's trading co. The refinery has been idle since castle shut it down in 95 and is mothballed at this time. Poweine Oil Co. is located on lakeland road in santa fe springs, California. A listing can be found under california refineries on the web.
