Im currrently on vacation. while shopping in a antique store I found a Texaco bench, 3 seperate seats in one unit with the texaco logo on the center seat. Asking price is $145.00 Is this real or fantasy it looks old to me but im not an expert.

I've seen some really neat formed plywood shoe store 'benches' with individual seats (some decaled and some with the logo drilled or punched out in a pattern), that may or may not be the same style you are referring to - but it's hard to tell without a photo...any way to post one? Sounds cheap if it's real, and in nice shape...

Depends on what you mean by "real". Sounds as if it's "really" a bench which has a TEXACO decal on it, but I seriously doubt if it's "real" in the sense of having been made by The Texas Company.

Does your bench look like this ?
I found this one in an antique shop near St. Louis. Not sure how "authentic" it is, but I like it. I paid $100.
