The title says it all... "I would like to pay my condolences to the capco body that sacrificed it's life"
As some of you know i bought the Kanotex globe with the broken base. I will post some pictures of it now that i have patched it up.
First pictures is a before shot.

Second and third pictures are after i cut up a capco body i had gotten from the great people at Vic's place and epoxy it on.

Next picture is after a little paint. I added the epoxy i used to do the job.

This is after it done and lenses installed.

Now... it's home with it's brother!

Nice job Jarvis! Should we have a moment of silence for the Capco Body. It gave it's life so another, better body could live.

I'm curious as to how he's managed to spare these 5 globes from the certain death countless other globes have suffered in his posession? Getting soft in his old age or just waiting for the right moment?

Great job, JJ!

Now that you've saved a globe, maybe the curse has lifted?

Great job JJ. Wes I think you may be right, he has transfered the jix to bodies, hopefully just CAPCO bodies. Don't let him touch any glass bodies, the jinx has been transfered. Richard

What happens if the epoxy fails and the body ripple separates from the capco base and tips over?? Lens gets broken?? Lets hope not!!!
