Hello, I just found this web site while looking for information on finding out if some old Firestone signs are worth any money. My father in law owned a Texaco Station from the late 50's to 1981. We still have some large firestone signs. The signs are rectangular about 5-6 feet long and two feet high. They are red lettering on white background. We also have a sign that would hold the gas price. There is still a 3 in one of the two spots. Gee, only two spaces for a price, I can hardly remember when gas was under 99 cents a gal. I was wanting advice on where to go, how to go about selling these signs, finding the worth on the, or even if they are worth anything to beging with. Any help would be appreciated. I don't have pics right now, but can get them. IP: Logged |

I'M NOT REALLY SURE ABOUT YOUR PRICE SIGNS VALUEWISE, BUT THEY DO HAVE VALUE TO THE RIGHT COLLECTOR. AS FOR YOUR FIRESTONE SIGNS....THEY ARE WORTH MONEY....DEPENDING ON CONDITION, AGE AND WHETHER THEY ARE PORC OR METAL WILL TELL YOU THEIR VALUE AS WELL. CAN YOU POST PICTURES? IF NOT I'D BE HAPPY TO HELP YOU....drcoke@optonline.net. I'LL GET THEM ON FOR YOU. DOC @ THE AMERICAN GARAGES IP: Logged |

...listing on ebay's easy enough and a good way to get top dollar...plus people can bid through oldgas.com and help this website... IP: Logged |
