I talked to a guy the other day that has this Amlico sign for sale. It is a 6 foot sign, double sided,Original ring & in good condition. He shot me the price of $400 + shipping. I was wandering if the sign would be worth the $550 I will have in it? I know $400 is a good price but then I have the shipping. Also how scarce is the sign? I have seen one before but cant picture where. Thanks alot for the help.

I like it. I like stuff you don't see very often. I see common 6' signs in my area all the time that people want $400-500 for without rings. And they're selling on ebay for big bucks, I would guess that sign would bring big bucks on ebay. Just my opinion. As far as scarcity, I've never seen one. But that does not mean a lot since I have only gotten into this the last year or so.

GRAB IT...JUST FIGURE IN THE SHIPPING TO THE TOTAL COST OF $550. A BARGAIN ON A NOT TOO OFTEN SEEN SIGN. 1ST ONE I'VE EVER SEEN.
IT THAT PICTURE B&W? OR IS THE SIGN COLORLESS IN REAL LIFE?

Never have seen this Co., but is very cool. That 6' sign has to be worth it, I would think.

This exact picture is in the August 2005 braglines section of PCM.

It says it is dated 1954. Great sign at a great price I would go for it.

DOC, those are the colors and I really like them especially on JJ's shakers.
