May be too late to shop for you but you might as well post your Holiday wish list. Anything to the left of the girl would work for me this year. For you history buffs this photo was taken in front of the Sun Valley Auto Court service station on Highway 101 in Buellton California around 1939. The little auto court cabins behind the station were later converted into apartments and were in use until at least the late 90's. In the 50's there was reportedly an hourly rental available and the locals jokingly called the place "the riding academy". Hmmm, wonder what they were riding? People seemed really proud of their advertising even back then...look how her hand is perched on the Coke sign with all the other details of their products clearly visible.
