Greetings, is the clockface a M/S 19-A?
No tag on the pump or name on the face, but per Jack's book that's my guess.

As an extra Christmas bonus it would be great to see a picture of the correct visi for the pump.....or if it's easier and you have one and have trouble posting pics you can just ship it to me, that's ok tooooo.

Could it be seen on retro sculpture "Visi-Tree" previously posted by DB?

Thanks!
Tok

Tokheim, I believe this is the sight glass you need for your Mod#19. DB should be able to tell you for sure.

I think the firt pump is a M&S 19-a....but the one posted by Don is definitly a Milwaukee 781. Sight glasses are not the same. I am looking for a Milwaukee sight glass like that.

Can anyone help with the pump on the right. It appears to be a short M&S 70 (same stainless below bezel) with a script top.
Questions:
1. Is it a short 70? If so what model number is it.
2. Is the script top original?
3. This one is for Tokheim. If this pump is original, can I use the picture in my Gas Pump ID revision?

Tokheim,
The M&S 19-A AND the MILWAUKEE 781 are almost a copy of one another.
Top casting is differant, faces are a differant size, light shade is similar but differant. From a distance they are hard to tell. Sitting side by side is much easier.

Don,
Yours is a MILWAUKEE 781

Jack, In my opinion......it looks like someone fit a 50's circa script top to the M&S 70? Only a quess but, You never know?

As far as the Milwaukee 781 I looked back and forth between those two in the book before I thought mine looked more like the M/S 19 based on the form of the middle and top.

The tag on the M/S script top just says model 70 and a guy I met at that NY auction where I got it said he has owned a few but not many. I don't have an 80 but the 70 is only like 13.5"x19" and the 80 seems wider. There was another spare top there with Mobil Special and again looked small on the table.

There was one in a pic posted with some other pumps on a float/trailer in a parade sometime back that was redone, but JACK FOR SURE I would love to have a pump in your book!

Thanks all,
Tok

Hello, this is only my own opinion, but I have seen a enough different pictures of mod70 script tops to say that they were made by M&S and not by someone modifying a top for a mod 80.
