JOE - HERE'S A SAMPLING OF THE GOLD DECAL I WAS TALKING ABOUT.

I HAVE AFEW OF THESE FROM MY BROTHER'S STASH WHICH IS A SMALLER SIZE AND STYLE THAN MY STASH.

OK. No where do I see the word "ABOLITE" as TerryL asked. Also, no sticker on it like that, but there is what appears to be whats left of a sticker on the upper throat area on the outside in the green area of the fixture, but looks white or off white now. I only see markings on the porcelain electric bulb fixture. It is marked: "BENJAMIN PAT'D. 12-24-12, 660W 600V".

Ok, I got the scoop today. Those light shades WERE made here in West Lafayette, Ohio. It was called there "abolite" line of lighting fixtures. Abolite was sold in Dec. of 1989 to LSI inc. in Cincinatti , Ohio.
I talked to no one who could tell me if LSI still makes that shade today or not.
This is what I found out so far.

So even if I don't see it written or stamped anywhere, this is still the case then? Did you get any idea as to the years they made they this specific style? Interesting though. Thanks.
