I can say pumps & signs really do it for me. I am getting a few globes & I am just hoping it will not open another floodgate. I have one clockface & I bought it with my first wild pump find. I bought a Tokheim 39 short & a Rapidayton 1420 clockface. Both have the normal age to them a few bullet holes in the face plates. But the best thing is I paid $80 for both of them & he gave me 2 Standard White Crown signs that was on one of them. The guy was tickled pink to get that & so was I. Visible pumps definitely rule my life right now. Just about to shoot the color on my first one. I also have A four sided working traffic signal, a working barber pole, a working Gamewell fire alarm, all inside the house!(I have a VERY understanding wife) I've been looking for a wooden phone booth to go somewhere. I wondered if the rest of the gang here branched out into other collectibles also? Kewl topic Lance. A nice change from what's been going on around here lately.  I'm into pumps myself. I don't have any clockface one's yet - but I'm looking. I currently have 15 electric pumps from the thirties to the sixties. And I'm getting more and more into the lubester thing. I've got 7 of those right now and another one to pick up this weekend. I like painting them to match a pump and putting the two together for 'show'. I also like the glass oil bottles (goes with the pump and lubester don'tchaknow?). I try and put together a full rack for each restored pump as part of the display. I have a nice small collection of Riley Bros. stuff. Since Jodi and I live in Riley MI, on Riley Center Road - it just seemed natural. Plus the usual signs and misc. items to fill the walls and the shelves. Later . . . Well for me I guess its pumps,I would like to stick to just Clock faces , I have two now with 4 electric ones and two Gas carts, but like lance I have a list of what I want and will someday get. it seems that I take in anything though from Barber Chairs to Wooden Indians but thats the way I am , I like cool looking stuff and I enjoy having things that ordinary people wouldn't have, or what there wives wouldn't let them have LOL IP: Logged |

Clock faces for me. 7 in all, Tokheim 850 and 800, Wayne 851 and 861, Bowser 310, Bennett 132, and a Penn. S-2. Maybe one more on the way. I started out with cans, I have over 100 full Texaco cans. Then moved on to globes, have 20 or so of them. Then I moved on to clock faces and haven't looked back. Have the same list of dream clocks as every one else. Wayne 800, Dayton 900, Erie 50 or 53, and any double clock face. Have a good one, Brian IP: Logged |

I love all this stuff. Wish I had more room, I'd have even more stuff I guess. I really get excited when I find something good to add to my auto paint collection. I found the following can on eBay last week. It says "For best results use a badger hair paint brush." I'm also into Zephyr, Buick and Bardahl, but it's the ancient body shop stuff that "floats my boat." ------------------ IP: Logged |

I've got it narrowed down to pumps, globes, blotters, license plate toppers, signs of all sizes, cans, oil bottles, sprayers, oilers, banks, ad glass, and smalls. So far only collect Mobil/Socony, Pennzoil, Amoco, Kendall, Esso, Sinclair, Veedol/Oilzum, Gulf, Texaco, Keystone, Atlantic, Shamrock, Sunoco, Penn Drake, Quaker State, Phillips, Union 76 & Amalie. Believe it or not it's starting to look a little hodge-podge (sarcasm), but I'm working on grouping brands together which helps. This site makes my bell ring! HAGD! Pumps and globes for me. 31 restored pumps in the barn 147 globes, and I need to move a stagecoach out so I can build another pump room, The Wayne 50A is waiting. I think it's the hunt that I like most of all. Richard IP: Logged |

Clockface Pumps are definitely my favorite. I have pretty similar tastes to Lance when it comes to pumps, unfortunately, I just don't have the pumps he has yet. Looks like that pump collection is coming along real nice Lance. Can't wait to see the wish list all in one picture someday. Keep up the good work. ~Jason IP: Logged |

I started out with lighted canopy lights - I filled the side of my garage that faces the house. I found a 6' lighted 76 sign and old Esso pole, so I erected the pole and sign and put it up beside the garage. I liked the plastic, so I filled the rest of the garage and put a privacy fence to hang more. I bought a 5 quart Gulf can - I have over 100 5 quart cans now. I got a gas pump later, now I can't get them out of my mind. I have eight electrics - I would love to get a Wayne 60 and a Tokheim 36B someday, and I WILL - when the price is right. I have just started buying pump plates - so I have to say PUMPS, 5 Quart cans, and Pump Plates "floats my boat". Brady IP: Logged |
