My son bought what semms like a ton of Texaco parts from an estate and we would like to find out how to tell what cars they fit. For example: T-1 to T-16 oil filter cartridges. CC - 30 and cc - 61 Contact & Condensers Oil filler caps etc, etc.. How can I find out what all these Texaco items fit?? Any help would be greatly appreciated..... IP: Logged |

You'd need the Texaco catalog or chart from the service station (which should be findable). If I were you, though, I would just use everything for display - I don't see too much of a point in using any of those types of (mostly internal) parts on a restored car, as they're aftermarket anyway. I have some Texaco headlights in their boxes that I display with my Texaco stuff - looks pretty neat. Good find! Wes IP: Logged |

Welcome to Old Gas. I agree with Wes I would not use them at all. They could be contaminated no matter how good they look. That could be bad for a engine. IP: Logged |

Gasaholic, If your a Texaco collector, You may like this big sign I found in an old station Monday. It is dated 07-37 but under all that grime, it was in good shape. I was at the station un-bolting an old D-X sign post, the one that is a fluted post for the diamond shaped hanging sign. This is for my collection, I had been trying to get the old boy to sell it for years. Thought I would share my findings, happy hunting. IP: Logged |

Thanks to all of you who answered my post. I have started searching the web and eBay. Is there any way to ship full cans of Texaco oil and also radiator flush without a lot of hassle? Thanks..... Yates IP: Logged |
