I am trying to date a couple of Wayne 80 pumps so I can get the correct signs, etc. The tags are as follows:

SERIES 1T-Z
Serial nummbers 137980 and 135389

Thanks for the help,

There's your problem Brent... You're trying to date two of them at the same time -- that never works.

Just curious - on your new 80s, what is the symbol to the left of the word Octane on the original decals?

Hey guys, I titled this topic on purpose to see what kind of replies it would get. Just like you said Bob, I agree with changing the mood and getting back to fun stuff. All that legal stuff is too confusing.

Wes, it's just a gray circle with a curved line through it. On one side of one of the pumps I can read Good Gulf. It is a decal with white outline.

Brent

P.S. You're absolutely right about that 2 at the same time deal! Been there, done that in my younger days.

Your M&S 80 pumps were made by Wayne after Wayne merged with M&S.
135398 was made in April 1959
137980 was made in January 1960
It seams that I am the only one to have a copy of the second edition of the Blue Book, it picks up where the regular Blue book lets off and goes to 1960.

I WAS GONNA TAKE A SERIOUS GUESS OF POST 1958 DATAGE BASED ON THE FACT THEY WERE WAYNE'S. JUST WANTED TO SEE WHAT MR. SIM HAD TO SAY. I GUESS I WOULD'VE BEEN CORRECT!

I am presently retyping the both issues of the Blue Book, combining them into one,and making it easier to read. Give me a little time, I'll have it ready for printing.
