Trying to find some info on this oil can I recently aquired to add to my Marathon Oil Related Collection. Have checked the internet and collectors books but couldn't find anything. Researched the Golden Imperial history but did not find any mention of Lone Star Oil. I would guess they are just saying they use Texas (Lone Star) Oil. As opposed to all the companies advertising Pennsylvania Crude. Have any of you seen this can in quarts? Chuck [This message has been edited by Gaspedler (edited 01-24-2006).] IP: Logged |

There once was a Lone Star Gas, now a part of Ensearch, but they are from Texas, not Indianapolis. I wonder if they are related? IP: Logged |
