After reading the spool on the price of a fry 17 I wanted to throw this Question out. I have the opportunity to purchase a bunch of clockfaces. All are straight and complete with sight glasses and only minor surface rust: 2-American 277, 2 Bowser 310, Bennett 150, Milwaukee 781, Milwaukee 870, and a couple of others. Sounds like a great find BUT - he wants on average about 300-350 over Jacks book price, not negotiable, and I would have to take all of them. I have run into these things before with some signs and globes but it was pretty easy to sell off enough to make the deal feasable. Although clock faces are getting hard to come by,(and I love them) the price makes it hard to pedal a few to make the deal more manageable. Would this be a good investment for the future or a deal to pass on?? IP: Logged |

Jacks book is outdated on most of the clockfaces anymore. My opinion! Every clockface I get I sell quickly,Seth buys alot of them to restore and sell.I would give an offer that is close to the asking price and see where it goes.Just dont offer money and renig when he makes his decision,he wont deal with you again. ------------------ IP: Logged |

Like everything else the prices keep going up. As for clockfaces they go up a little quicker. If you pass let me know ![]() IP: Logged |

Jeff...Steve is right, I've been giving what I feel is strong money for clockfaces, because I literally can't keep them in stock. If you get the deal done, send some pics & prices and I will see if I can use any. Seth IP: Logged |

Right now clocks are the hot items to have in the garage. Not just to sell but trading material.I bought a tokheim 850 that is near mint,I have been offered so many different things in trade for this pump its crazy, and its not even a rare pump.Buy them, you wont regret it! ------------------ IP: Logged |
