REcently I acquired a teens Polarine oil can with decent color and graphics, but, through transport is covered in old oil. What is the best way to clean up this beauty without hurting the graphics, thanks, Mike IP: Logged |

WD-40 and a soft cloth seems to be the way to go. I ruined two good cans trying to use "Goop" hand cleaner - keep away from anything like that. I used WD-40 on a can from the 190Xs, and no paint damage occurred. Wes IP: Logged |

Mike: I've had real good results with the Eagle brand 'Magic Wadding Compound'. You know the stuff, cotton fibers impregnated (can I post that word on here! What I like about it is it works slowly and allows you to monitor what is happening. A bonus it the fact that you can polish the rims and the top while you're at it! Later . . . Jim
