When I was a youngster I remember going thru a book of paintings and came across this painting by Edward Hopper entitled "Gas". Ive always loved this painting for obvious reasons, and I believe this is where my fasination w/petroliana began! This is not actually a nite scene but I love pumps at night. What gets you cranked?

Hoodchicken, this is one of my favorites as well ,I think the first time I seen this picture was on a calander hanging on my grandfathers garage wall, its been around a while now, it sure is easy to look at brings back some good memories. thanks for posting it.

Nah, everything in Cheese's yard is covered with snow.
