i took down a sinclair gas sign post at an old station last week..i have a dino sign i thought would fit in it, but it measures 84 in. across, does`nt appear it will fit in the post frame...i read in scott bejamins sinclair book that they made 72 inch signs and smaller but does`nt mention 84 in. signs..anybody got any knowledge on these signs and posts...thanks,ron

I HAVE 2 SIZES OF THE DINO SINCLAIR SIGN. 60" AND 84" ACROSS. WAS THERE A 72" MADE?

84 X 60 and 60 X 48 come to mind. Never heard of a 72 incher.

i`ve seen some advertised on e-bay, infact there`s one on there now that says 6ft. by 5 ft.

The ones that are 5' tall are 7' wide. Maybe you could get the ebay seller to double check the dimensions.

can you tell me if you`ve seen a 84 inch mounted on a post, and how it is mounted..the frame i have on top of the pole is 82 inches at the widest point to the inside of the metal...thanks,ron

COULD IT BE THAT THE FRAME JUST NEEDS TO BE FLEXED A BIT DOWNWARD TO ALLOW AN 84" SIGN TO FIT?

I ASKED THE SELLER TO RE-MEASURE THEIR SIGN...STILL HAVE NOT HEARD BACK.

FUNNY HOW SOME PEOPLE HAVE A HUGE SINCLAIR SIGN LYING AROUND BUT NOT A TAPE MEASURE IN SIGHT! LOL!!

thanks guys for the interest..the 84 inch sign does fit the post i bought, the only thing is the frame seems to be out of shape and somehow i have to straighten it...thanks for your help...ron
