Hey gang...need a little help here...some months back I put a couple posts on the forum abouT a guy in La Grande, OR. (Hank Albreight) who is bringing back to life an authentic 50'-60' TEXACO service station to actually pump gas....He is at the stage of putting the correct pumps in to pump gas....He has the pumps and needs the correct color codes for: TEXACO red and TEXACO gray. Need the PPG or other codes for the pumps....Any help is greatly appreciated....tks SWABBY IP: Logged |

These are color codes I have picked up here on Oldgas. I did a search on "Texaco colors" and got 41 hits. These ones below are from Rustcollector. Fire Chief: Entire pump,(except screen) 14X Red, screen on visible pump, 17X Aluminum. 14X = PPG 70008! Bases ar Black Hope this helps. Warren - The "Guide to Gas Pump Restorations" lists the red and silver codes for Texaco. Sherwin Williams code numbers. Red is 45351 and silver is 42159. IP: Logged |
