Even when the book was 1st released, priceing was for REFERANCE ONLY, not witten in stone. The book is almost 4 yrs. old now.
Publishers refuse to print books on collectibles without priceing.

Lots of pumps were UNDER/OVER priced in the book [find me a dozen 36B TOPS for $300-350]

If you like the pump or price, buy it.

When I started, I didn't know [or care] that there was a market for old rusty pumps. I was buying them because I liked them. Sure wish now that I had bought more in the $500 range THEN. ROMANS for a $1,000, WAYNE 60's for $300 etc. etc.

Heck, I even passed on a MUSGO globe for $1,500 [that still HAUNTS ME] !!

Old...I wouldn't want to be in them for more than maybe a hundo a piece. If you do end up with them, believe it or not, I have some NOS face glass (which if we are talking about the same pump is a huge, molded piece).

yeah but didnt you start in like 1920 dick?LOL.you are right(and i have been told this before)if you like it buy it.but after lees than a couple of years i have 13 pumps.some i got good deals on some not.so i just try to watch it a little and not just jump on any thing i see.tryin to improve my globe collection(another whole ball of wax)and hopefully trying to spend my money "wisely"??seems that where i am at ther isnt alot around and what is available is higher priced than other parts of the country.i guess it just matters on who wants itim not out to make money, but just tryin to pay fair prices.thats why i ask you guys(and girls)for your input.thanks dick and seth for your input
