I won't say anything on this topic if you post some pictures.
That's gotta be worth something!
And since kmann mentioned it someone should really bring that lampshade post back up to the top. I kind of miss it.

That was a great evening! Rex I wish you would have gotten a picture of Andrea when I told her it was JJ's turn to pick up the tab for dinner. Her expression was priceless. She hadn't figured out that I was joking.
I'd say Hubba and Dawn are about due to come to Peotone...or better yet Rex's auction.

I just wanted to thank the MANY oldgas members that support me and have personally emailed me with their comments about the promoters and the situation.First of all Phil couldnt make it so his father picked up his visibles for him.Oldfuelish picked up his crown from me instead of getting another broken one,I encouraged him to come and meet everyone.A glass cylinder to John Ohern.A restored gas pump to a gentlemen in Kansas.I brought some globes for these guys to look at,along with 2 old signs.Any of these people would have gladely came to my house but I tried to make it more convenient for them.I am disappointed in the comments that were made about me.I tell on an average of about 75 people in a years time, internet, auctions, antique stores, and just plain new collectors that have never been to a show.Sounds like free advertisement, that will come to an end.I am not cheap,I did not set up a big stand out in front,I am not stealing from you either.Anyway what the promoters need to do is advertise no outside sales or charge for outside spaces, not charge companions or kids, and be more polite to potential customers. You dont need a big building to have a show,I want to go to the tenn. show because its outside.Seems like the people that go to these shows are the same people who tell other people every year.Anyway, again thanks for all my friends here at oldgas,I know sometimes I voice my opinion to much but thats what makes us different.Steve

and the wife and kids get in free and they also can eat off the grill, this year the bar-b-q will be held at my home just 15 mintues from the show on sat. the 20th of may the show will be held on the 21 of may at the fowlerville fair grounds, we have made some changs for the better at the grounds we are sure you will enjoy ,we always give oldgas members discounts and gifts , we promote to the fullest and advertise to the max ...... do we make money off the show NO however it has been a blessing to are bizz. and i always sell out,and that also is a blessing, there is always guys that come to the show free and sell out of there trunk, i don't mind that as long as i get 1st crack at the stuff, haha, remember this is a fun hobby and for some a bizz, lets make it fun and enjoy it, and when it comes to the time we don't make it that way, thats the time to leave it, as iam sure there is much more important thing's in your life than petro... iam not saying who is right or wrong here as i don't like to jude,or be jude. i will say this it could have been handled alot better. cheese
