Thanks for all the compliments. The neighbors have'nt really said too much. I think they all figure I'm nuts by now anyway.
I have a Pure oil sign on the original pole that we are going to erect out front of the building. It's 18ft. tall and 6ft. in diameter. I am waiting for the time when some litle old couple pull's in late at night and wants me to change a tire. lol

I thought you'd like this link with lots of pictures of old porcelain panel gas stations.

Be sure to click on "Ice Boxes page 2" while you're there to see even more.

Now everyone who wants a station like these at their house, raise your hand!

Jim, it's all your fault that I was up half the night looking at all of those stations. I am really glad that you posted that wonderful link.
Reading the history of all the designs is so interesting to me.

Thanks for the comments and for posting the pics. I just returned from Carlile and Hershey Pa. I picked up a few goodies.
Prices were extra high this year.

Well we got the lettering on the other day. Still waiting for the 6 inch pin-stripe. We are now working on installing the outdoor wood burner/hot water heating system.
I will send some more pics soon.
