Went to FL for vacation and passed by this gas station in lower AL...very cool that the town is restoring it.

There are also quite a few old gas stations that are falling down on route 9 to FL. I didn't stop by them, and didn't see any pumps around them either, but there is no telling what may have been inside them. Most had trees growing through them and just abandon and run down.

Dave ,That is a great looking station ,it's nice that the town has people that will step up to the plate and get things done, you don't find that to often

The city is Florala, Alabama on 331 south. Also if you guys travel that route go onto 85 south and check out the multiple abandon gas stations. I counted, I think 6. Plus ran across a farm with some great antique cars, no petro stuff, but lots of neat old cars.

Hmm. This station looks an awful lot like the one I saw in Plant City, FL last year. Maybe same brand of gas?
