This month’s feature are the Wayne clockfaces. The model numbering system Wayne used was pretty darn wacky regarding the clocks. In 1929 they offered the 576, 730, 853 and the last one offered was from the late 30’s, a model 876 ( basically a Veeder Rootless Wayne 70 ). Of course there were many different models in between these.

One must admit that the Waynes from the early 30’s were some of the most beautiful pumps ever made. I believe the model 800’s from the early 30’s define “art deco”!

Posted below is a model 866:

Please feel free to send anything to me, I will gladly post it for you. Now that summer’s over and we’re back home for the most part, let’s get another one of those 50 post POTM’s going. I also want to thank those that were able to participate in last month's feature!
Thanks for looking!!
Neal

Oops, I can't get the image to come up. Tonight I'm in a motel doing the super-dooper-slow dial-up thing, maybe that has something to do with it?!?! I will try to correct this problem tomorrow night when I return home.
Also, can any of you gurus look at the link and tell me if I've done anything wrong? I can type the above link into my computer and it comes up fine. Granted, it has been a few weeks since I've posted any pictures and I may just be getting rusty.
Thanks!

Neal
