Last month we saw some rare and awesome diesel and fuel oil globes. Thanks to all those that submitted pictures.

This month we're going to feature globes from:

Midwest Oil's one piece Deep Rock globe dates to the 1920's.
The very colorful Kant-Nock Ethyl is from the late 20's-early 30's.

Rex's Mutual globes would have been used from the late 50's until 1970.
The Super Kant-Nock is from the 30's.
And the Deep Rock globe was used frpm 1950-72.

Midway Oil's Golden Flash globe is extremely rare. The globe book dates it to the 1950's but I suspect it is older than that.

Here are a few from my files.

This rare globe is from the 50's.

This globe belonged to Robert Liter. Its from Imperial Oil in Kentucky. Its also from the 50's.

This Mileage Mart globe is one of the more graphic globes used in Illinois. Cira 1955-62. Courtesy of Aumann Auctions.
