Hello- I've been reading about/seeing all of the other projects out there for quite some time, so I thought I'd contribute to this board for a change.... I've been restoring an old filling station for a while now, and the project is almost complete. The station was originally a Marathon (Ohio Oil Co.) back in the 30's and 40's, but from 1956-1972 it was a Skelly Station and I decided to go with that design. A lot of progress has been made since the pictures were taken and I'll try to update with new pictures soon. There's a lot of good advice on this board and I'll keep reading. Thanks IP: Logged |

Hey Mike, looking good man. Next time I'm in Denison I'll try to stop by to see it first hand. I delivered a Fry 117 to Pottsboro 3 weeks ago, wish I had remembered your station.
