POSTING WES MAXWELL'S BEST BUYS OF THE YEAR....
--------------------------------------------------------

My Sinclair collection really started this year so almost everything I have is new to me this year. I try to get the best I can afford at the time. These are some of my best items so far.

The globes were duplicates from my brother or from Iowa gas.

The extra duty sign is almost perfect. I got it from a friend of mine. I got the lubester plates from my Uncle.

The 5 foot Dino sign is also from Iowa gas.

I got the vertical strip signs from different places, the Pennsylvania from my parents for Christmas (2004), the Opaline from an auction in KC and the Mobiline from an antique shop in Arkansas.

POSTING FOR ROD "DANCES WITH PUMPS" B.O. BOTW FOR 2005....
--------------------------------------------------------

Hi, Doc!
Here are my buys of the year.  The National A-1,  Bowser 565, and Shell clamshell globe.  As you can see, lots of work left to do on all 3 items but enjoy doing that kind of work...a real stress reliever for me.
Happy New Year  and thanks again for posting.

This Dance globe is one of our best buys from 2005. We have been looking for this green version for over 15 years and were finally able to track one down.

p.s. Thanks to Doc for the help with the photo!

Thanks, Tom for the kind words. I sure don't regret buying it but it has been a challenge. I haven't given up on her yet. If it weren't for this site and the many GR8 people like you encouraging others like me, I probably would have.
I'm sure enjoying this thread! Really GR8 stuff, guys. Thanks for posting. Let's see some more.
Rod
