SCOTT, I AGREE W/REX....OUR ANTIQUE STORES HAVE ZERO PETRO TOO. AS A MATTER OF FACT OUR ANTIQUE STORES ARE CLOSING UP RIGHT AND LEFT! I GUESS THEY FIGURE WHT LEASE OR PAY RENT WHEN THEY CAN STAY IN THE COMFORT OF THEIR HOMES AND SELL STUFF ON EBAY. AS ALWAYS, GREAT PICTURES FROM MISS-MISS-MISSOURI AREA'S ANTEEK SHOPS. THAT SINCLAIR SIGN HAS GOT TO BE THE LENGTH OF THAT FORD THAT'S NEXT TO IT! TOO COOL, MY FRIEND! THANKS FOR SHARING! DOC @ TAG.WEST IP: Logged |

Here's a peak into an old gas station I looked into last year. The sign wasn't porcelain but some type of masonite...plus it was HUGE. I left it there for the time being.

Did someone say Champlin? Here's an old Chaplin station that was torn down last year. Thanks to a fellow oldgaser I was able to get the porcelain panels. I'm still looking for more porcelain panels for my station project. IP: Logged |

That Champlin station looks kind of familiar. Hopefully, I will get to see parts of it again some day. Keith IP: Logged |

Hey Wes, Gas prices aren't too bad out there compared to us here in the east. We are still at $2.40 a gallon or so. Give or take a couple of cents. Does anyone have access to that Shell clam and pole in the other post??? Keep em' coming. IP: Logged |
