Well, once again, I bought something huge... My garage is filling up! I got this awesome Tokheim 65-gallon lubester on ebay. It's an oldie, and in remarkable condition. The tank is galvanized inside and out without a speck of rust. The tank used to be red (still some on bottom) but it all flaked off the galvanized surface. It must have been indoors all of its life. Check out the cool cast iron grate! You can move the slide to QUART, 1/2 QUART, and 1/4 QUART. The dipstick is in great shape. I'm going to use it to repro one for my Tok 142 Red Crown pump. Hey Gang. Here's my 'Buys of the Week!' - or maybe the year! (So far that is.) This shot was taken at the previous owner's garage. I haven't gotten any shots of these since I got them to Michigan. They are currently residing in Chris's garage since I couldn't drive across the lawn to my shop to unload them. Way too much wetness in my yard to try that. LOL A National Simplex and a Bennett 150. These are our first Clockface pumps. The Simplex is mine and the 150 is Jodi's. The 150 has a 'Standard Oil' rebuild tag on it - so I'm thinking Jodi may want it restored to some form of 'Crown' gas. My Simplex is gonna be restored with one of our upcomming lenses. You'll jut have to wait and see what that is. I want to send out a big THANK YOU! to my buddy that let me in on this deal. He knows who he is. It's friends like this that make this hobby great. Later . . . Jim ------------------ IP: Logged |

Here's my buys: Finally got my items from Rex's auction: My first 2 globes: Funny thing about the 2 globes I was fortunate enough to win if you look at this picture of Rex's items being packed for the auction.Rex had them displayed next to each other and I bought them both.So Rex the 2 will be together for a lot longer & will be well cared for,I guess they were ment to be together isn't that kinda ironic? Here's some 5QTs from Rex & some Qts I picked up from John Mancino last weekend: Here's a couple cans I didn't even know I bid on from Rex's go figure?: IP: Logged |
