With no can on the exhaust pipe you might want to turn the crank to see if the engine might be froze up.

Thanks for all the replies. Now I just need to convince them to sell it to me. If I get it I will leave it just like it is now. I'll just fix the tires and get it running.
Thanks!

I went by and looked at it more closely. It is a Fisher Body # 38502. Looks like a straight 6 and it does turn over.
I think there is a good chance I will be getting it. Anyone know what that body number means?

Also, the old truck that is out there is a Federal. (says it on the valves) It is a cool old wood cab. Anyone have any interest in it?

I believe that Fisher had a long standing relationship with Ford....

Yep, I remember my brother's 1967 Olds has a body by fisher tag. It is GM but is there any way to know what that body was used on? I was thinking the 38 in the begining of it might stand for 1938 but that can't be right. This front end is older than 1938. (early 30's?) I was looking through old car pics on the web and I can't find a grill like that.
Anyone have any resource info for Fisher?

Some idiot from Wisconsin suggested a 1929 Pontiac. Go to Google search put in - 1929 Pontiac- and click on images.

Wads, I think you got it. I have found a few 1929 Pontiacs on the web that look pretty close to this front end.
Does anyone know how difficult these motors are to work on? It looks pretty easy, but are parts available?

I would like to have the truck but only if you where closer. I have a old wagon tanker in line & would look good on that. Oh well. Cool tractor though hope you get it. You might start collecting tractors then too
