Can anybody tell me anything about this Standard Oil Of Texas Products Sign. It is marked on the bottem. It is double sided. 33" diameter. Looks to be a genuine sign but I have not been able to find out what year this company existed in Texas.

It's an original sign.

What year wasn't Standard oil in texas would be better question,you should be able to find info. They had many baby standards under their wing,meaning other companys used their products. Which means this sign could have came from a number of retailers. Much of standards history, I have found during my pierce pennant search as pierce marketed through standard, and later became competion. They went head to head in texas for many years.

I have the exact same sign but someone took an axe to the center of it needless to say your is nicer .
