Came across this Skelly Tagolene bucket today. What was this used for?

Thanks
Wally

Has on the bucket."GALOBE-D-2" "All Purpose Gun"

Was this used to re-fill grease guns?

Thanks

The cartridges haven't replaced the bucket yet...... you can still get grease in 35lb. buckets or 120lb. drums.
Here is a link to a picture of a gear lube pump and the grease gun pumps would be just like this one except in place of the hose there would be an adapter to hook up to the gun and there would also be round follower plate that went inside the bucket.
