I am also going to be in Hershey for the swap meet. Plan on doing alot of walking and plan on finding stuff just about anywhere on any of the fields. We should plan one afternoon for all the oldgas guys going to Hershey to meet up and put some face's to the names. How many guys are going to Hershey??????

WHILE THIS IS OBVIOUSLY A HERSHEY THREAD...I WON'T BE GOING. I'VE ONLY BEEN THERE ONCE (FALL 2000). I LIKED THE SHOW....IT'S HUGE. BUT IT'S ALL OVER THE PLACE! ALL THOSE FIELDS AND EXTRA WALKING MADE MY DAWGS BARK! I WILL BE GOING TO CARLISLE THE WEEK BEFORE (THIS WEEKEND) FOR MY 20TH YEAR AND MY 31ST TIME. CARLISLE IS PRETTY MUCH EVERYTHING YOU'LL SEE AT HERSHEY ONLY ONE WEEK EARLIER. CARLISLE IS ALSO IN ONE FIELD....A HUGE ONE! 80 ACRES I BELEIVE.

I THINK IF I CAN REMEMBER FROM ONLY BEING THERE ONCE, JASON....GAS PUMPS WILL SHOW UP ANYWHERE IN THE SEVERAL "COLOR" FIELDS AT THE SHOW. GOOD LUCK AND REPORT BACK WITH WATCHA SAW AND BOUGHT~!

Hi guys, it would be a good idea to meet up, we are making the trip from England.
Regarding pumps there were quite a few last years but all the goods ones sold pretty quickly.

Well GPG you seem to get the "farthest traveled" so far on this post!

Just a few hours drive accross the state for me and I hope to attend.

Honestly folks, I am more of a gas stuff guy than a car guy so with a gutload of walking by myself can I do this in a day... and is that day Wed, bright and early or is there a setup situation I should try to check out?? I am not opposed to buying a clockface or a M/S script-top, and/or porcelain signs , Misc cool shtuff.

By the way, I have two Tok 300's that are complete except glass and handles/locks, nice faces and computers, not very rusty but some door dents that I could take for someone. (Or pick up/meet another time) Guts in right now but could be removed.
My wife bet me favors that I can't get $300 for the pair. Anyone interested? I know...pictures. I have been meaning to take some and post in "for sale" but have not yet.

Thanks,
~ Tokheim ~

{Never really been to a show, and I can't make Carlisle because of a conflict or I might have gone there instead.}

We set up in two areas.....We place about ten restored pumps at Scott Anderson's Time Passages site in the Chocolate Field....right across from the public restrooms and food court. Then we set out signs, cans, unrestored pumps, parts, and a few restored pumps in out spaces Blue Field BNK...8-9-10 & 11. It is a great show.....having done Carlisle and Hershey......my choice for best is Hershey......Just me talking.....Paul

Jason, I went to Carlisle today - and I am beat ! A whole lot of people not set up yet - and not too much in the way of pumps today. More restored than in the rough. I bet I did not see more than 30 pumps today. I like Hershey MUCH MORE. I went to Hershey on Sat last year, and as I posted a few weeks before - do NOT wait until Sat to go ! Many vendors were gone. It would be great to meet a few of the people I "see" on this site. I did go to Columbus to the CTO show - it was EXCELLENT - it's hard to beat a Petro meet. Brady

BRADY, I HOPE THAT SCENE CHANGES IN THE NEXT 36 HOURS....USUALLY IT DOES. I ARRIVE @ CARLISLE USUALLY AROUND 9AM ON FRIDAY AND TRY TO COVER THE ENTIRE FIELD TAKING NOTES AND ENJOYING THE NOT TOO CROWDED AISLES THAT WILL BE FLOODED WITH BUYERS ON SATURDAY BY 10AM AND MAKE IT IMPOSSIBLE TO SEE ANYTHING!
I HOPE THE BUD GIRLS ARE THERE!
