Drove 3 hours 1 way, icy roads, to attend an Auction for this item. It was well worth the trip. Found about 12 cans and a sign on the way home, Finally a productive road trip again like they used to be when I started collecting back in the mid 1980's

Here are my purchases from the first local auction I attended that was billed as a "Gas and Oil" Auction. Just a local man liquidating his collection. As some of you know, I'm concentrating on Mobil and was glad to find the old Socony Harness Oil can. I didn't have anything that old yet so was happy to add it to my collection. I only paid $7.50 for each of the 5 gallon Freezones. Not in super condition, but a heck of a lot less than I'd have to pay just to have them shipped if I bought them off Ebay in the same condition!

Picked up this Bardahl Outboard Oil sign today. I've been looking for one like this in nice condition for years. Got it on eBay and the seller was only 25 minutes away. Turns out he is a collector and a great guy to meet and see his collection.

I got this Komac Blue Ribbon Auto Finish can from eBay. I never heard of this company from Denver, Colorado.

A fresh set of 15" Blue Seal lenses from a fellow oldgasser. Now to get a body. Nothin' fancy, but it will be my second complete vintage globe!! I think I am catching the bug.

I've been looking for an original ID tag for my Wayne 866. Thanks to Oldgaser Kelly Page I now have one. Not mint but better than none.
