It turned out to be a great weekend for Tara and I.

At the Jim Fox auction, Tara got this really neat Sinclair poster:

And I got this NOS D-X sign. It had some kind of rust stain on it that came off very easily. It doesn't look like it has ever had screws in the grommets.

And this Nevr Nox sign too -- I have been looking for something to go above the mantle for a long time!

And, last but definitely not least... My dad found this lens down in Texas for us. What a find! I can't wait to get it displayed! Tara and I found out that the deal for it was made just 10 minutes before the Fox auction started. What a rush!

Wes

They changed out the signage at a local station on thursday and the guy called me asking if I was interested in this sign. I said sure, got there just as the sign guys removed the last bolt, they set'r right down on my trailer.Went right to work that eve. dug the hole and got'r ready for concrete. Poured that friday, set the sign up sat.afternoon and finished putting it together today.By the way, this sign is straight, the photographer was a little cocked.

This just showed up in my driveway, got it a while back from another oldgasser. That is one big Standard sign, matches my equally large Amoco sign perfectly. I guess it drew lots of stares and photo shooting on the way here.

your candy machine is a Stoner 180
from the 50s... Memory Lane Restorations
would have anything it may be missing they
also restore.
He (Curtis) hangs out at www.soda-machines.com

Hey Phil,
Is that a 600 series Tokheim visible? I like your goodies.

Phil,
is that a fry 5 gallon switched to a ten? I saw it at the auction and it looked weird to me.
Thanks,

Picked these up at the Jim Fox auction. Hey Wes and Tara, the lube chart sign cleaned up real nice, glad you did not fight me for it. Like I said, the first lot of a sale will usually be a good buy, it was this time.
I was really happy to get the 24" Opaline sign, not the best shape but these don't turn up that often at a price I want to pay.
