I have never been able to get my G&B clockface in my gameroom due to my ceiling height. My grandfather built my house as a summer cottage back around 1950. When he poured the cellar floor he made a 4' deep pit where the water well pipe went into the ground. Well it is hot here in Mass. right now, so a cellar project made sense, it is nice and cool in the cellar. I filled the hole up a few feet with rocks, then poured in three bags of concrete and leveled it out. I nearly got a hernia tilting and lowering in the pump, but it worked. I am happy with the results. The second pic is what it looked like when I found it.

My back hurts just looking at it! Nice job though. Always love the creativety of people when it comes to solving a problem.

Cool pump, I have a picture of that pump in the same location from many years ago, right off Rte. 2 , stopped many times but was always told it was spoken for, Glad you got it and not a scrap guy.
