You never know what you will find. I was out pheasant hunting with my brother last Sunday and was getting permission to hunt a farmer's land and found this Standard thermometer. It is not in the best condition, doesn't have the thermometer and needs to be cleaned but I am happy with it until I find a better one.

Nice find...
Gonna be a little crunchier than the pheasant, but taste better with out the mercury flavoring. No feathers to pluck.
They do make replacements for the glass thermometer.
So did you get a pheasant?
Tradition in our house when I was growing up was pheasant hunting with my uncles on Thanksgiving Day. Miss that one.
Always enjoyed it. Some years we had better luck with rabbit and quail.
