That time again another new month. Dug thru my favorite place to search this week found these skirts yet to be identified and some cast iron wheels.

I went tonight at a nocturne antique market in Tongeren and got the chance to found the missing emblem that goes on the centre of my 1930 peugeot 301 radiator grill, I'm really happy to complete this one I also found an original stand for microphone philips from 1957, same color on the stand as the microphone

I recently picked up this railroad signal. The picture doesn't do it justice. It's about 21' tall. I also got a trailer load of RR signal poles and a couple of crossing signals.

Not really into beer signs but you can't leave one like this behind.

My focus is antique sports display pieces..picked this up at the Alameda Point Antiques Fair a week ago...Emailed a vintage weight lifting collector expert..essentially said he rarely see's them this old...says hard to date other than early 1900's...Dealer said reluctant to sell it as it brought people in his booth to look at it and take photos...I was speculating why this is the first big one like this I've seen in 30 years collecting...friend said probably most were smelted down for the war effort WWI and WWII -Carlton www.SportsAntiqus.com

I just couldn't pass this up, and I have no need for it! It's a 1935 GE "globe top" refrigerator, in working order, and excellent sheet metal. There are still quite a few "Monitor top" GE's, but this one is cute! I'm toying with the idea of painting it a Coke Cola theme with decals.

Carlton - just noticed the bar bells--bar balls--what were they called? Now you need to get one of those faux leopard suits with the skin colored tights and under-blouse. Don't forget of course the handlebar mustache!

Tankar I would guess probably 1960's or 1970's on the Beechcraft sign. Beech is an aircraft company founded here in Wichita that recently became part of the Textron family of companies.
Always looking for more Derby, Vickers, KanOTex, & Elreco gasoline & oil items!
