Good Afternoon everyone,

Beautiful day here with lower than usual humidity. I left for working at the local food pantry early this morning. Work non-stop until lunchtime giving out tons of donated food to folks in need. My fellow volunteers are a fun group of good people to work with.

Here is a pic from our June vacation. The town of Cherokee, NC, near the Smoky Mountains and the Cherokee Reservation, has dozens of bear figures around on display. All are painted in a unique artsy way. Our favorite was this one that captured Native American heritage, spirit and artistry.

Have a great weekend in Oldgasland!
