I finally spent the time to proper fix this Mobil gas pump after years of it standing in my shop. I was able to rescue it from farm service mounted with a tank on 8x8s as a skid. Never had the back door opened. It was jammed. Took the last hour getting it opened so I can make the repairs. Inside it, stuffed between the fuel pump and the housing was a wad of paperwork. Mice ate what was sticking out but still super cool. 1951 general installation instructions for Martin and Schwartz.
I love this kind of stuff. Nice Easter egg hidden inside for decades just waiting for the right day. Just thought I would share.
