T.K.Nelson was my wifes Great Grandfather.He built his first automobile in 1905,pictured here with his family.No idea how many were built.He was better known for making the

"Nelson" one cylinder gas engine as shown in the picture.It has been restored and is owned by an Iowa farmer.

This is a 3 H.P. Nelson gas engine in working order.

The small one is an replica (miniature) of the 3 H.P.and it fires up and runs!

You likely know this info already. But, here's a pic of an exerpt from a book I have. Seems that there were several Nelson car companies.
