So I bought this pump about when I first got on this group. Me and wife drove to Wisconsin Rapids on Dec 10 2000 to pick up my first visible pump. It was a memorable trip as we sleep in truck and it was snowing up there. Well 23 years later big Shout out to Brad Ubelhor for lying down some killer paint and Doug Wilcox on Polishing brass and Aaron Hop for original globe lens. I never thought about what I wanted to restore it in until I found an original photo of Valvoline station with same pumps.

Only have a couple small things to do but it’s pretty much done and where it’s going to sit.

Great job, John. Looks awesome!

I'm sure many of us have pumps sitting around that we have intended to restore but haven't in many years. Maybe there's hope for a couple gas pumps lurking in my shop garage.
