Can anyone please tell me if the early version of the 42" Texaco sign that had the "Filling Station" on it came only in an signal sided or did it come in an Two sided version also.
Also want are the chances of finding/buying a sign in an 7+ condition. What would the going price be. around? I know you can say that it how bad you want it, bit yet I wouldn't want to get burned. I have not seen many (maybe 3)for sale, and two of them I wouldn't even taken them if they were given to me. That's how bad of shape/condition they were in.

I'd be going a whole lot more for that sign if there's "NO" restoration done to it Butch.

There's at least two different versions (Fonts) of this sign and they were only made in single sided. They were bolted together when you see a double signed outside hanging.

I think a decent sign would fetch $3000.00-$4000.00 but I've been gone for sometime when it comes to prices.

Hope this helps...
