Was at an auction the other day, and they couldn't even get a $5 bid on this pump. They had to bundle it with some rickety lawn furniture to get $5. Before someone asks why I didn't buy it, there were 3 auctions going on simultaneously, and I was bidding at one of the others.

It all depends. Maybe a hot day, you're driving a small compact car, and the 'not so collectible' pump weighs 350 lbs.!

Lead sign is worth more than $5. Electric motor inside is another $5.00. So $5 profit plus the rest of the pump.

Way too much work for 15-20 bucks. I have passed on earlier pumps for this reason. Time and labor are money. Dave

Lol! I remember not so long ago, people wouldn't pay 50 bucks for an ms 80, now they're what...5-800 bucks? I could set that pump outside my door here and get 150- 200 for it before too long.

They are like a piano...heavy, expensive to move, and hard to sell. Cheaper to sell for scrap and a lot less time and energy consuming. Dave

That pump would sell for around $100 around here. There are easier ways to make $95.

I would buy it IF I had the room to store it at the time. I think it depends on how hard pumps are find in your local area.
