Hi Tom. I was never so glad that the weathermen got it wrong for us! Initially, they predicted 8-14" of snow for us, but it rained most of the day yesterday. Over night it snowed about 3" with nothing but ice underneath. So, do I shovel or not, or just stay inside and look at !

That looks so cool!!! It rarely snows where I live and when it does it does not stay very long. This is the only snow picture I have that a gas pump is in it.

We usually don't get enough snow where we live to get a decent winter scene but this morning was an exception. Here's a shot to show what I awoke to today....

Lots of snowfall so far this year. It should help our drought situation especially if it keeps coming.

I was talking with my Dad tonight about this winter in Michigan and how mild it was in the southern lower peninsula. At work I had to shovel the walks twice and salted once, I think I used about 3 cups of salt this winter. Dad relayed nothing like it was when he was a kid in the 1950's when there was snow from November to April and it was usually many feet deep. I guess neither of us are complaining about current winters though, haha!
