After hospitalization for a heart problem, Judy Hoyt of Iowa Gas Swap Meet passed away last night. This is a shock to us all, including her husband, Ron Hoyt, one of the Iowa Gas partners. Judy's smiling face and friendly manner were well known to not only those who attended Iowa Gas, but also all the other swap meets that she and Ron attended over the years.

A very sudden event. Dad and I had a very pleasant and lenghty visit with Judy and Ron almost one month to the date at Columbia.

...the one time I got to go to Iowa Gas, I flew to the show and had to pack some items to send back as they were too big to go on the plane...Judy offered to drive me (actually insisted on it!) to buy some packing supplies...the Hoyt family has my sympathies...she will be missed...

I talked with one of the Peotone show promoters Tim about geting a space and i told him about Ron and he said he had talk to Ron already and Ron was going to make it to Peotone.
I know this is a tough time in the Hoyt family but prayers go out to Ron and his family.
