What years did Sinclair put the RD-119 decal on their pumps? Which grades of gas had this decal? Was this a Power-X and HC thing or did they use this into the Dino and Dino Supreme days?

PLUM, I have seen the RD 119 logo on three Sinclair HC pumps that I have found. one bennett 371 from the late 30's and two bennett76's from the mid 30's. I have also picked up a few old pumps done in power x and I cant say I ever remember seeing the rd 119 logo on them. hope it helps

Ryan,
I've seen the Power X tin bank(pump shaped) and I've got a power x matchbook both with the RD119 logo on them.

I've got an extra decal RD119 if you are interested.

I worked in Sinclair's refinery from 1953 until late in 56 when I went in the service and we put RD119 into both HC and Power X. I was gone when the products were renamed DINO and I don't know if they continued with RD 119.

Thanks Bud, those dates help! Someone sent me a picture of a Sinclair attendant filling up a '59 Chevy Biscayne with Power-X. There is a partial shot of the pump. The RD119 decal was not on this pump. The pump had a different decal something to the effect of "X-Chemical".
